Aloha! Looking to get scuba certified during your stay on Maui?
Our instructors offer scuba diving certification courses through both the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) and Scuba Diving International (SDI). Both courses are 3 days in length and involve the student spending the majority of his/her time in the ocean honing practical skills doing real dives. The cost of each course is $450 (note: you need do only one of the two courses to be scuba certified). Both PADI and SDI are recognized and respected worldwide. PADI
PADI is the world’s largest scuba diving certification agency.
PADI
divers carry the most respected and sought after scuba diving credentials in
the world. No matter where you choose to dive, your PADI certification
card will be recognized and accepted. In fact, on most dive adventures,
you’ll be surrounded by other PADI Divers who made the same
scuba diving certification choice you did – to train with the world’s largest and
most respected diver training organization. We offer a 3 day course on
board our fast, comfortable, custom Dive Boat “PELES RAIV”. Boats leave
from Lahaina, and include scuba diving off Maui, Lanai, or both. Classes
include all course materials including dive gear, books and PIC card.
Your
PADI Instructor makes sure that you are ready for scuba diving certification using
the concept of performance-based learning. This means that you progress
as you demonstrate that you have mastered specific performance
requirements essential to becoming a diver. Your instructor is there to help you meet these requirements, regardless of how quickly or slowly you master them. You must earn a PADI scuba diving certification, but you do so in an encouraging and well-supported learning environment.
